The Eifel, our country, is known best for dependable labour and the quality of its products. For us, the MFT- Engineering and manufacturing technology Ltd in Mechernich-Vussem, this is stimulation and seal of approval to provide our clients with "Eifeler” top quality in engine building and plant construction.
Invisible but spectacular
Since 1998 we are fulfilling highest standards in singular and minimal series production for engine building and plant construction. Public, however, tends not to notice our accomplishments at once. As our cutting-edge products are built in product groups and engines. None the less some very spectacular things are produced with MFT’s know-how: For example we help F1 cars to run faster and make them more dependable. As our clients are supplying the F1 racing circus. Their cutting-edge products are built with the help of our machines. In turn they are manufacturing F1 cars crank-and camshafts.
We are also represented in aerospace. Our clients build manufacturing machines for undercarriages and wings which finally ensure e.g. Lockheed’s vertical take-off aircrafts always have a safe and smooth start. That applies also to Ariane rocket boosters from the European Space Agency (ESA). Furthermore we are preparing machine parts to produce heavily used cog-wheels. They pep up wind engines.
Top Ten in Germany
We offer sophisticated products of all different sizes. The range of our products is therefore more extensive and more flexible than others. MFT produces machine parts with a length up to 32.8 feet and cubes with a volume of 8.2 mal 9.8 feet. Highest precision is our ultimate ambition in even those dimensions: Manufacturing these machine parts we guarantee a accuracy up to a five thousandth part of a millimetre. This capacity makes us a top ten member of Germany’s big parts engineering industry .
Modern communication for sales increase
Demands on small industry sector in the engineering sector have increased enormously. Truth is, we can only be successful if conventional labour and computer-based processes are interlocking. Since its foundation MFT has been disclosing a growing transaction volume every year. Against all awkward economic trends these figures have doubled since.
Sure enough the characteristic of our home is one main reason for this development: best quality and reliability are our highest obilgations. For this reason more and more clients have confidence in our quality-products and our dependable service.

Best proof for our permanent seeking for highest quality possible is the so called DIN EN ISO 9001-2002 (German industry standard). Our brand name and highly motivated workforce stand for the adherence to delivery dates.
Education for young people
MFT gives five young apprentices the possibility to absolve a highly qualified education within our company. This is a main factor for social and economical stability in our region. Later, these apprentices become young technicians who will foster MFT’s target: Healthy growth and continuation of participator principles. Each employee can acquire company’s shares after two years staff membership. This is part of our understanding. Each employee will be connected with the company on a higher level – personally and emotionally. This is leading to a much better identification and better results.
Safe jobs, growth and net investment are MFT’s future aims. Customer orientation, education and new employees with high qualification will help us to achieve these aims. And MFT will still be a traditional and modern company at the same time.
